Most spectators of the game have only a limited idea of the strength, agility and mental toughness to drive and dunk in traffic. This painting was created with the idea of a basketball player conveying an attitude of not being denied on the way to a dunk. I wanted to capture in his facial expression this feeling as if he is towering over the viewer as if to say “he’s got game”. The background was painted as if he is soaring among the mist and clouds.
